Thanks for picking up this Easter issue of Gaylife Manchester magazine. So, how’ve you been?
It’s been a hectic old month over in the village hasn’t it, with loads going on and lots to talk about, and that’s just the gossip! Here at Gaylife we don’t listen to any of that though, pure facts and nothing else for us!
As I write my column this month, it seems like the Narnia-esque eternal winter may just be about over, I can see a glimmer of sun outside my office window and I havn’t had to put my heater on yet!
Back to this month’s issue of Gaylife anyway. And aside from the Easter festivities, the month of March is always home to the annual Manchester Rubbermen gathering. We managed to grab 15 minutes with Alex, one of the founders, to find out all about this year’s event.
We also talk to up and coming new band ‘The Professionals’. They’re huge already in Asia, and one of their members is a judge on the Israeli X Factor. Remember, you saw them here first!
All your regular favourites are back too, with Miss Thunderpussy serving up the final episode of her look back at LGBT equality through the decades. MJ talks to us about supplements and Lee Clatworthy has been trolling through the internet to find something to make him angry. Can’t have been very hard, I’d imagine.
Anyway, as always enough waffle from me. I’ll catch you next month with the biggest, fattest, and eye opening issue of Gaylife yet! Watch this space!
