Manchester Pride is again staging an annual benefit, raising money for the Manchester Pride Community Fund. Since 2003, the charity has raised and distributed over £1.2million, supporting LGBT and HIV groups and organisations, both large and small. This year’s event will take place on Thursday 14th May at Gorton Monastery. As one of Manchester’s most dramatic spaces, The Monastery offers a hauntingly beautiful backdrop to what promises to be a night to remember.
Manchester Pride told us, “As guests make their way down the red carpet and through the candlelit cloisters, a sparkling drinks reception awaits in the enchanting Archangel Garden. The evening is hosted by the devilishly handsome Andrew Hayden-Smith and includes entertainment from Britain’s Got Talent finalists, Jack Black. Once called for dinner, guests will enter the breathtaking Great Nave where they will be served a 4 course sumptuous dinner.”
Bookings are now being taken at manchesterpride.com/springbenefit. If you’d like to reserve a table or individual places, you can contact the Manchester Pride office on 0161 831 7700 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
