Gay popster Sam Sparro has confirmed that he’ll perform at this years Manchester Pride festival, completing the Saturday night line up.
The performer best known for his 2008 international smash hit ‘Black and Gold’ joins X Factor finalists, Rowetta, Misha B along with up and coming boyband The Mend, DJs Moto Blanco and Scarletts Roses to name but a few.
Also included in the Saturday line up are runaway internet successes, The Queens of Pop, who’ll be bringing their light hearted sense of fun to the main stage during the day.
As was announced in March, local band ‘The Feeling’ will open this years annual fundraiser on the Friday evening. Manchester Pride also reliably inform us that theres still plenty more acts to be confirmed – so watch this space.
You can purchase tickets for the whole weekend directly from Manchester Pride at www.manchesterpride.com or from a number of participating venues throughout the village. Theres still a few early bird passes available at the discounted rate of £16.
